Simple request for profile editing option [Limited # of edits]

I'm wondering if someone can help me out a bit and figure out how to give limited number of edits to certain profile field. Has this been made already? If so, a link would be great. Thanks! Also, net to the field a message that says "You have # of changes left" , like DVD region change style. :squareeyed:
