Purchase Subscription For Another User

I am looking for a hack that would allow users on the site to purchase subscriptions for other users. This could probably increase subsciption counts on some sites where there are users who cannot afford or don't have the means to buy one, but have friends or other users on your site who would be interested in buying an account for them.

I suppose you would have a place where you could type in a username, or if the script is accessed like .php?userid=546, then that box would already be filled in with the username. This would make it easier to add links to the postbit such as "Buy this user a subscription". Then the dropdown box that is on the regular subscription page with all the different types of subscriptions available would be found.
