Zip Compress Multiple Attachments
First off can I just say Ive been a regular on here for a month or so now and the information on here and the modifications is amazing!
Ive searched the forums high and wide for stuff i need but im unable to find anything like this: Im in need of a hack that basically turns the attachment form into a zipper. So when a user attaches file(s) it compresses them into a zip file which can be named randomly or <username>_randomNo or whatever. This zipfile then needs to be stored in a directory on the webserver for easy retreval. Ive been looking into how to actually zip files with php and so far ive come across Ziplib over @ http://sourceforge.net/projects/phpziplib (dunno if this will come in handy for anyone) but its way over my head. Id love it if anyone took up this idea and made it into a hack. Best Regards. |
