Two domains, One forum, Two related subjects
I own a webmaster forum, currently running on VB 3.0.5.
I have a domain that I would like to use for a business forum. I would prefer not to start the business forum from scratch as building a forum from one member is not easy. I feel that the webmaster and business forums are related, as webmasters will be concerned with business issues and small business owners will be interested in promoting their business on the Internet. Are there any clever ways of running the same forum on two different domains? The best I can think of is having the business domain redirect to a business category within the webmaster forum. However, this may cause issues as the forum will then have the webmaster forum logo and visitors from the business domain may get confused if they go to the forum index. Any suggestions would be much appreciated, even if they would require purchasing a second VB licence. Thanks, Fergal |
