How do I make my added home page link work?
I added a Homepage link to my Quicklink drop down.
I also added a Home Button to my top Nav bar. When either of these are clicked it takes me to my vbulletin forums page at http://www.mydomain.org/forums/index.php Problem is I need it to take me to my members Home page which I have installed Vbindex on. Which is this url. http://www.mydomain.org/index.php So i either need it figure out if i can put the index.php in the forums folder or I need to find out how to change the html code to direct to the link. to make the homepage button direct me to http://www.mydomain.org/index.php Can anyone tell me the correct way to do this. Can I overlay the index.php file that is being used for the Vbindex page on top of the existing index.php file for Vbulletin? Im using Vbulletin 3.0.5 and Vbindex 3.0.0 RC5 I got it to work. What I did if anyone needs this information in the future. I renamed the folder for Vbindex.php to index.php my problem was there was also a file named index.php for vbulletin. So i renamed the File originally named Vbindex.php. I named mine ind.php and did a drag and drop into the forums folder. I then went in and changed the html code on the Home page buttons and the added one in quicklinks to point to http://www.mydomain.org/forums/ind.php Now when I click the home button on the top nav bar or the homepage link under Quick links it goes to that link which is where the Vbindex page is installed. So far its working good for me. |
