Looking for hack...Need help

I was browsing the site two weeks ago and found a DIY hack for VB 3. Specifically I remember pics of the "DIY's" being added to the Primary nav bar -etc. I have been searching for two hours with no luck. The only thing I can think of is that the hack is called something else and is some type of new category hack for the primary nav. Does any body remember seeing this and can you point me in the right direction?
