Manually ordering threads in a forum??

I have a forum on my site which is for Upcoming Events for the clubs that I promote. I moderate all the new threads and keep them in a uniform format with the date/venue/location as the title. Would it be possible to keep these threads listed in chronological order according to the date in the title, as opposed to the last post in each thread? If not, how could I manually adjust them after a new thread is posted?
