Reducing Queries

Can someone point to me who had a hack that reduces forumhome's queries down by 2? Think it was Erwin who showed how it was done, but I can't seem to find that thread.

Currently have 9 queries and no uncached templates. But I had it down to 7 before with that mod (it's a new install to test new hacks, so don't want to reimport an already modded copy of vB).

With 9 queries it's taking 0.05 seconds to generate the page, but with 7 that can come down to 0.03.
