Having a problem with moderator rights, please help?

Hi all,

I have created three seperate forums under a forum category as follows

Administrative Area
- Moderated Posts
- Admin Talk
- Site Development Talk

Now, I have a team of 10 guys that have user permissions set as administrators and supermoderators, and they have no problems seeing all three forums, and can moderate posts on all forums.

We recently added 4 new moderators, who need to have access to the 'moderated posts' area, but not the other two. They also need be able to moderate posts everywhere else. So, I gave them the supermoderator access rights, and turned on the moderated posts forum in their forum permissions area of their user profile. The problem is, they cannot VIEW the forum (although new posts to the forum appear in the 'new posts' link and they can reply there), and they have NO moderator rights in the drop down thread tools.

I'm pulling my hair out trying to figure out why this isn't working. Can someone please help? thanks.
