Combine vBulletin with this Newsscript ?

Heya.

I was browsing Hotscripts.com searching for a nice and simple newsscript for nonvb pages.

I found this one : http://cutephp.com/cutenews/demo.php

It's really nice and suits exactly what i wanted it to do. This software doesn't use any mysql database.

But now comes the hard part.

People can give comments on newsitems but i don't want them to register again or use it as guest.

So how can i combine the userdatabase of vBulletin with this script so they can post comments with their own vBulletin username and details ? Is it possible to use their cookies ?

I tried a lot of things (include global.php etc etc) but i'm no superman on php

I would love to hear a solution.
