Auto changing members from "registered" to other group?
Okay, this may be a wild shot but this would be of great help to me.
I currently use PHPSHOP for my online store. My members can purchase "improved" membership status (avatars, custom title, etc) via my store. My store places the order and when I've confirmed the payment, the store allows me to change the order from "pending" to "confirmed". Once I do this, I have to send an email to one of my helpers who then logs into the vbulletin admin control panel to: 1. Change their status from "registered" to Crown Jewels Ruby or Diamond (These three have varying levels of membership based on payment/donation) 2. Add their username to the top of the forum home page where we hand add their name for display "Thank you to our newest subscribers" Each of the three donor levels has a list (we keep the newest three subscribers in the three lists at the top of forum home page) What I'd like....is to figure out how to get phpshop to send a script/command to my vb when I click on the "confirmed" status in orders that have those purchases of donors within them. I've asked a phpshop coder to help write a script, but he's not familiar with vbulletin. Of course, this is a side line...does VB3 have this capacity? I really need to be able to hook up my phpshop store with my vb (so that shop talks to vb) because I believe someday I'll have to go to subscriber based site anyway. Thanks for any help on how to get this accomplished.. |
