Idea for censorship hack
Actually it's two ideas.
1) Make a random character generator for words that should be censored. It's like this, in the comics and stuff you always see words like ++++ spelt like #$&^. That's what we should do with vB. Make it like that. Now, I've tryed doing this: having three characters per letter that should be censored, but that looks like crap. And if you censor a four letter word, it shouldn't have twelve characters, that's absurd. I hope you understand what I mean.
2) Make a hack that allows you to make custom words per each word that should be censored/allows one word to replace the whole censored word, and not one character. So if someone says the n word on my board, I'd have it say {censor} instead of {censor}x6 because that would cover each character that should be censored.
I don't know which one is easier, or which one you would like, or if anyone would even code a hack like this. I just know that it sounds like a good idea IMHO, and I think it would be a great hack to have. I have knowledge of some PHP, what I need to code sites with...so in layman term's, that's why I'm requesting this hack. I really wish someone could code this for me, but if not, there's nothing I could do in my power to make it. So if you're interested in creating this hack, not just for me, but for the good of vB, reply here.
