Sidebar forum blocks are too restrictive
Forums and Moderators->Forum blocks manager->Add block->CMS articles
When you post your articles, all the BBcodes, including images and links are stripped out, even custom HTML. So all you can really see is plain text in the sidebar which is not good enough for me. I'd like to at least include a link or even a small image in the sidebar. Is there a way to loosen up this restrictions and is it the same thing with new posts/threads/blog post block options? I just want an easy way for moderators to put content into the sidebar that is not completely stripped down. I currently see no other option but to do a cutom HTML block and fetch the content from some external server where mods upload it. This is kinda insane measure.. |
