Channel Management
Sorry, can somebody remind me again? I forgot the structure of this procedure.
We have Home (Node ID: 1) followed by Main Forum (Node ID: 2). When we create a channel, do we base it on Home or Main Forum to begin with. For example: I create a child channel (channel A) based on Main forum. Then another (channel B) based on Main Forum. Yet in the breadcrumb, we have Home, channel A and channel B. But channel 'Home' is almost looks the same as channel A. Not sure if that is clear but it seems that channel A is redundant. This is what I mean. . . Home > Forum > Main Forum The Forum link in the middle, is pretty much the same page as the home link. How do we get rid of the Forum link? Is there a manual explaining common methods of forum structure? It's been so long since I played around with this that I have forgotten how I did it in 4.2.2 Thanks. . . |
