When to upgrade to new version?
I've been running a forum for several years now on version 3.8.3 with no problems at all. I'm very happy with the program and the users don't have any complaints, but I feel like I should be asking if I need to upgrade. I know there's safety concerns if you use an old version too long but I'd kinda like to update the look and feel also, maybe using a CMS too, not sure. I'm currently running no mods, which may be helping the "no issues" side of things.
What do you guys think? When do you upgrade? And BTW, I would be paying for help to upgrade so I don't have to worry about messing anything up. 8-) Dan |
