Upgraded to 4.2.2 - Experiencing some major issues - Assistance required please!
Hi All
I loaded up a test site on my VPS today to run a 4.2.2 upgrade and boy am I glad I didn't run it on my main forum! I'm having quite a few issues at present, some I've fixed but a couple of major issues I am seeking help with! First error - not to much on this when googleing it: Code:
Warning: date() [function.date]: It is not safe to rely on the system's timezone settings. Please use the date.timezone setting, the TZ environment variable or the date_default_timezone_set() function. In case you used any of those methods and you are still getting this warning, you most likely misspelled the timezone identifier. We selected 'Europe/London' for 'BST/1.0/DST' instead in ..../includes/functions.php on line 4912 Warning: date() [function.date]: It is not safe to rely on the system's timezone settings. I get a load of warning messages in the ACP that I need to revert or fix 9 templates. If I revert them back it completely breaks the style! Bummer is its a style from http://www.completevb.com/ and jugging by the website (and previous recent requests) I have no chance of support to get it working with 4.2.2 Also my Home/CMS link had gone completely from the nav bar, I cant even see it even if I use the standard vBulletin style! Man what a depressing last 8 days this has been First my site hacked and now all these issues! I don't suppose anyone wants to help me out with the style do they (PLEASE)? I have NO idea at all when it comes to CSS/PHP/HTML in templates Failing that a descent recommendation for a site that has some descent support and styles for 4.2.2? Thanks Guy's Xray . --------------- Added [DATE]1382569777[/DATE] at [TIME]1382569777[/TIME] --------------- Sorted the NAV bar Home/CMS in ACP - Settings - Navigation Manager Just need to get the style sorted now!! --------------- Added [DATE]1382614062[/DATE] at [TIME]1382614062[/TIME] --------------- Dam what's with all the sites supplying vBulletin skins going down or just not supporting the product any more?? I've been looking for a site that supplies decent styles and I'm struggling big time, is it really that hard to get support for 4.2.2? completevb.com's facebook page is full of people demanding money back and the last post from admin on there was way back in March 2012!! |
