Running 3.6.2, ready to upgrade to 4.2.1; should we do 4.2.2 instead?

At www.empirisoft.com/support we are running 3.6.2 and planning to upgrade to 4.2.1 this week. Should we upgrade to 4.2.2 instead? I am unclear of the costs/benefits. Any advice would be appreciated.
