Make MODs work in higher VB versions?
Fri 28 Jun 2013, 8:17 pm
Hi, I am not technical, so am often clueless about how to go about getting what I want in VB. This is a general question, and I realize it depends a lot on the specific MOD in question. However, I have VB 4.2. There are some great MODs in earlier VB versions that are unavailable in 4.2, unfortunately. I am assuming it is a lot of work as so many cool MODs are not upgraded. As I said, I realize it depends on the particular MOD in question, but generally, how huge a project is it to upgrade a MOD? Is it reasonable to think about hiring someone to do that? For example, here is a MOD for vBadvanced CMPS that will display avatars in the recent threads mod. https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=240095 . Is it reasonable to think about asking someone to upgrade it? Thanks for any discussion. Rex Khon Kaen, Thailand http://www.MindBodyThailand.net http://REBTinfo.info:down::down: |
