Database Error

My server went down for some reason and after my host brought it back up I've been getting this error on my site

Database Error 	Database error
The AstroPID database has encountered a problem.
Please try the following:

    Load the page again by clicking the Refresh button in your web browser.
    Open the astropid.com home page, then try to open another page.
    Click the Back button to try another link.

The astropid.com forum technical staff have been notified of the error, though you may contact them if the problem persists.

I have no idea how to even begin to look because of a lack of an actual error and my host is being no help.
