Cookie problems galore!

Hello,

I have a main site, site.com and I just set up a dev site for it at dev.site.com. The dev site was made by copying the main site exactly and we've been trying to figure out what needs to be tweaked to make sure there aren't any problems.

Well the biggest problem now is that we can't log out of either site and I can't log into the admincp of the dev.site.com site. I have a feeling this is related to cookie paths and domains but I don't know what the proper settings should be. I don't want to lock myself out of my site.

What should I do?

Users on the main site are now reporting cookie problems.

Fixed. Just so others know, the trip was changing the cookie prefix for the dev site. It was using the same prefix so things were messing up. You can change that value in the config.php file.
