question about db backup
hey guys, and gals, Ive ran into somewhat of a problem. I purchased a really really expensive style for my vbulletin today and it turned out that it was not compatible with 4.1.12, it is compatible with 4.1.5 and when i went to upload it everything went fine it was showing my 4.1.5 one i did and then when i try to add in my database backup it seems to want to revert back to 4.1.12 although in my control panel it says 4.1.5, on the site itself it says 4.1.12 in the powered by thing and the style i wanted isnt working i know this style works with it. my question is...
IF i import a backup from 4.1.12 into a 4.1.5 version of vbulletin does it try to revert back to 4.1.12? if this is the case is there any way possible that I could manually pick which tables to select so that only forum posts, user profiles, and all that good stuff for my members doesnt get lost? if this is not possible there is no problem at all. thanks! |
