Multiple forums from one software?

So basically, I need to run multiple forum areas from one vBulletin installation. So for example, there is a drop down box, they choose what area to go to, they are taken to that area and the forum skin changes according to that area as well.

I have seen a modification like this before but forgot what it was called and where I saw it.
