Is there a way to show a thumbnail preview for the specific forum search result?

for example say the you are doing a tag search for "apple"
then bunch of results will come up. right?
I want users to be able to see thumbnail preview if that result is pulled from a specific forum... meaning other results will be plain text results but one from I want will have thumbnails showing.. Please help me with this.
