Specific rss related question with vbulletin 3.8
Okay I have a specific thing I am trying to do here. Here is a link to my vbulletin board...http://hmandsforums.oliwy.net/forums/index.php
Now here's a link to our old ipb board http://hmandshorrorforum.b1.jcink.com/ If you scroll down some, you'll see white-colored links which are from a site called RSS.DOG. It's a site where you can take XML feeds and insert them into rss dogs interface. They then spit out a javascript code, which you can place anywhere on your site and whenever you add a new link to your xml feed (in my sites case icerocket.com), it will show up through rss dog, on your site in real time. You can also control how many links are listed and whether there's a description underneath each one or not. So, I post this because I wanted to know if there's a product/plugin/hack or whatever for this to be possible with a vbulletin forum. Where I could hook up my icerocket xml to it, and whenever I add a new story in my icerocket xml/rss, it would pop up on my forum in the same fashion that the latest threads and latest groups products, which sit atop our forum right now. |
