Hi Guys,
Looks like from the beginning of the installation of vbulletin 3.8.4 was wrong and not set up right and the biggest problem is that i saw the problem to late. Now i`ve more than 5k subscribers and not able to use some of the functionalities of the forum because of some mess with the encoding. As a default language iam using Bulgarian (windows-1251) which is set up in admincp. But again because of the bad installation looks like there are some problems using some of the services like thread subscription. for example: When i subscribe to a thread and receive mail notification for a new post the whole e-mail is with (*&^(*&^(*%^$&(%^( characters which i think is from the encoding issue. another example is when iam backing up the DB and try to move it to a new domain ... when import it half of the characters are showing normal in Bulgarian language and half of them are ?????????? - question mark. Take a look at the attached pic. ![]() As you can see half of the text is showing as should be in Bulgarian language but half is only question marks. is there anyone who can help me to solve that problem or even address me where to look for a solution couse a really don`t have idea what to do. please excuse my english as it`s not my native language. Thanks guys! |
