How do I send a VB activation email using a 3rd party emailing service?

What URL would I send to a user to have them activate their account? I'll be sending from Verticalreponse.com and NOT from VB.

Example:

"Please click the following link to validate your account:
WHAT_GOES_HERE?"

I don't think I can use the standard VB variables. Does anyone know?
