scrolling photos "marquee"

I need the text marquee, or I'd try pasting links to pics in the marquee.

Is there a mod or a method to select photos from users' albums, and have thumbnails of those selected photos scroll across a kind of marquee that is always visible?

I could create a wmp or similar slide show, upload to the server, and link it in a thread with html but that's not what I would like to do.

I'd like to see selected pics scrolling whenever someone logs on.
