Hello.
I have specific problem for one subforum. This subforum I don't want to show as the last post in the forum index page when someone makes a thread or post in this subforum. I just want the main forum's last post to be shown as the last post on the forum index page as the main forum is more important than the subforum. Let me go into detail. My main forum is my company news & announcements, and it has a staff application forum as a subforum within the forum. Company news & announcements should only be visible as a last post on the forum index page, obviously, as staff application threads aren't important enough to display as a last post over company news and announcements. Is there any way to do this? Also, here is another question that I will just ask out of curiosity (this question has nothing to do with the above question so please don't make this answer out to be the solution to my problem above). How can I set a forum where users can ONLY see threads they make and ONLY reply to their own threads? I don't want users to be able to see other users threads or posts (only certain usergroups such as mods, super mods, and admins to see everyone's posts and threads within this forum). Please hwelp. |
