Auto post icon with new post

Every time a user makes a new thread they are supposed to use the correct thread icon corresponding to what the thread is about. Some members however do not follow these rules and dont use a thread icon.

Is it possible for someone to make a mod that will automatically select the correct thread icon corresponding to a thread if a user has not selected one?
