Hi there, first time I have actually posted over here, so please go gentle
![]() I have a question regarding the editing of an RSS feed. The feed is from a blog that we link to the forums via RSS to ensure our usual community are kept up to date with the latest blog posts. This has been set up using vBulletin's default RSS feed capability. At the minute, every thread that is auto-posted comes from the one user account. That's fine. What I have been asked to do is see if there is any way you can include the poster name in the feed layout, and if I can include the full article in the post? Our feed layout is seen here: ![]() What should I be including in this to include; 1) the poster's username that could be included in the title? 2) enable me to have the full text of the blog in the post? Upon checking with the "?" help option, there seems to be no option to include the actual poster in the thread's title. It seems to be the one thing that's missing, presumably because it isn't always possible or something. The blog is vBulletin and built into the forum/vb database. I just wanted to quickly check if this was possible? Are there products that could assist in this? Thanks in advance for any replies, it's much appreciated! Cheers, Gaz |
