vblog rss to vbadvanced frontpage

my site (www.fvsports.com) has recently added the vbadvanced and vblog programs. they are great and i have loved tinkering with them so far. however one thing i have noticed is everytime i use rss for vblog to the front page it does 2 things. one it always caps the characters (i think around 50) shown and two it never shows the images from vblog. now as you can see from my frontpage there the rss feed i get from another site shows the whole thing and all the images. so how do i go about getting it to show more characters and the images? i assume there is something i can change something in the data modification part of the module, but i am not sure what. any help would be great
