Help - Just got vBulletin

I just installed vBulletin and I'm having trouble finding out how to do simple things. The manual isn't helping at all since it navigates just like the control panel.

So here are my first batch of questions:

How do you allow the user data to show on every post? (such as Location: Delaware) Is there anyway you can make a certain field required?

How can I change the size limit of an avatar? Under the Avatar bar, there is no option to do this and I had someone else sign up who was unable to add an avatar even though it is turned on.

Where is the template for editing? Under cpstyles, the html files are blank - all that I see are the images.
