Will Upgrading Ruin My Template??

I have this forum: http://midego.com/forums/

It is running v3.7.0 rc2. I need to update it to 3.7.5

Will running the vb upgrade procedure mess up the template site's around the vb forum?

Is so what can I do to ether prevent or recover the template?
