Just browsing the web earlier looking to learn a bit about my first PC which i think i got in 1988, It cost me in excess of ?500

5.25 floppys with ms-dos you had to boot up the PC with the red system disk

Lovey CGA monitor, and a Star LC10 dot matrix Printer



Software wise i had Locoscript, and then bought Lotus 123.

Who remembers Gem Paint Graphics Package???

Those where the days, I could remember saving up the pennies afterwards to buy a 286
