This is what the mod does. Say you created a thread in this forum.

The mod would then take that post created in that forum (only that forum, no other forums) and place a link to it in your profile and the user info(user info=when u make a post there is the user info next to it.)
This forum has the mod, the mod is the part that says "Trader Thread"
