Greetings,
I'm currently in the process of attempting to transfer over our Joomla template into a 'holder' for vBulletin, so as to keep the style the same during the transition between site and forum. While I'm making progress, ensuring all templates display correctly, it is quite a time consuming task, and by no means making optimal use of the template system. Prior to these efforts we were using an IFRAME, or com_wrapper component in Joomla to 'hold' the forum, however of course this stops us from refreshing the forum, without returning to the base dir due to the limitations of an IFRAME. I'm posting to ask if there is an easier way of planting the content generated by VB into a pre-designed template. The HTML I have got has a slot which will hold the forum, surrounded by a containing DIV, so I will be able to complete the job this way, however as I have said it is time consuming, and not very optimized. Many thanks for any opinions or insights! JamesH |
