Border surrounding forum
I'm quite new to vB and I've got a few problems - thanks in advance for any help!
1) I'm having a couple problems with the border I have surrounding my skin - around the quick reply box, a member has mentioned that he sees a 3px border around it (only in IE7) which shouldn't be there. I am also seeing another border around the ModCP login that shouldn't be there either. Is there any way to get rid of these two? (see attachments) I have this in the Body CSS under Extra CSS Attributes: Code:
border-left: #578c65 3px solid; border-right: #578c65 3px solid; border-top: #578c65 3px solid; border-bottom: #578c65 1px solid; margin: 5px; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; width: 750px; 2) There seems to be an issue with hex codes in my category strips. When I look at the skin in IE7, it looks like there is an extra 'bar' when the strip stretches - it looks fine in FF, though. 3) I want to get rid of the 'Hot thread with new posts, Hot thread with no new posts, etc' completely, I want the thread status icons to only use 'New post, No new post, Thread closed and You have posted in this thread'. How would I go about deleting the others completely? Once again, thanks in advance for any help. |
