How to Disable Special Characters on UserName Registration

Hi,

I found difficulties to find mod/hack on disabling UserName in Special Characters during registration.

We wish for the UserName only in A-Z, space and 0-9, no ascii letters, etc.

So far, I found 1 thread: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showt...900#post736900

But that one is for version 3.0.7

We are using 3.6.8 Level Patch 2 for our forum.

I wonder if anyone can help me to direct me to the correct one if there is any.
