Blank space in postbit - how to remove?

Hey everyone, I'm a little new to the coding of the postbit on VB. Just recently, we decided to get rid of the join date and location in the postbit on our forum. I did a search here first to see if I could find some info on how to do this, which I found. I was able to delete the code strings for both, but it just results in leaving blank, unnecessary space where the text fields used to be, which doesn't achieve the goal we were trying to accomplish (reducing vertical space in the postbit).

Now, I know from reading up a little on this, and basic html tag knowledge, that it has to do with deleting div tags more than likely, but I can't seem to figure out exactly where I need to do this, and I don't want to risk anything.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

For reference, the space I need to be taken away is in between the bottom of the avatar, and post count. Possibly, under the post count as well, as I believe that's where the "location" used to be.
