Automatically create a thread - scheduled task?

I have a forum on my board that is called the Daily Thread. It's just a thread where my members come to talk about whatever during the day. Sort of a daily off-topic thread.

Is there a way to have it automagically created via a scheduled task? I'd just need it to create it in the right forum and to use some sort of syntax that utilizes the current date in the thread title. (Wednesday 11.07.2007 Daily Thread). I suppose there's also the issue of first post content.
