Which OS do you use?
I've had XP since it came out and never really had any problems with it. Of course, it's really the only OS I was familiar with, so I had nothing to compare it to. However, the home and professional were both easy to use and I liked them both. No real complaints for either one of them.
I recently purchased a Sony Vaio laptop with Vista and I really don't think I like it at all. Maybe my settings are messed up or something but I'm constantly getting messages from windows about updates, allowing this or that, this program is doing something or needs to do something blah blah blah. And my computer is NOT fast. Like I said in another thread, it's a intel dual core 1.73 so I don't think it's supposed to be lightening fast, but I don't think it should be so slow either considering we just bought it and I don't have much on here yet.
What is your preferce for OS? Do you use something windows based? Do you have experience with Vista and do you like it?
My husband uses linux something or another and doesn't really like windows, but I just stick to what I know b/c I don't have the time or desire to lean something new at the moment
I do think I want my XP back though
