Email instead of Reply

Hello all.. first post here:

Basically what I want to do is dissallow all "post" replies and have that button instead just jump to email user (with info populated like included content of thread, etc.)

The dissallow part of course is easy but as far as replacing the "Reply" button with an "Email User" button I'm hoping for a push in the right direction..

(I'm already cruising through the vB code trying to figure it and PHP out on my own but any help putting me in the right direction would be appreciated.
