Should I install vB SEO

Hi,

I just upgrade to 3.6.8... I was using 3.0.9 with a custom seo hack that was good for seo, but not so good for the forum itself (urls problems in some parts of the site...). Now I removed everything related to the rewriting.

I have more than 200k indexed pages in GG...

So, here's my question:

Is it a good idea to install vB SEO? Does is really help the SERPs?
And then, if I install it... how easy is it to upgrade vb thereafter?
