Display threaded replies ala "Slashdot" style?

I'm looking to modify the display of a thread such that replies themselves (not just the reply titles) are indented in the hybrid view.

Kinda like slashdot does with replies.

Is this even possible? I found some neat mods to display a fully threaded forum view and that works well for what it does, but what I really want is the hybrid view with the bodies of the replies indented.
