Fixed width @ postbit_legacy?

I keep trying to get my width for the userinfo/avatar column and message column to be the same for each post, no matter how much content. It seems, however, no matter what sizes, fixed widths, and nowraps I put in, it doesn't stop stretching sometimes.

How can I fix the width?
