Help with login screen

I want to move my login/stats info into the header but I cant get it to work - when logged in all the info works and is in the right place: user name, PM etc etc...

When not logged in it all shows ok but when I hit login it doesnt go anywhere...also when I type in the user name the password cookie doesnt automaticly populate

This is the login/stats info in the header

Is there something else I need to add to make it work?

I want to remove the login/stats from the navbar to fit my style.

Can anyone help with this?
