How would you go about allowing a usergroup to have post editing privlidges on a specific forum?
We have 5 Member Groups or whatever. Junior Admins are supposed to have the ability to edit their own posts, but NOT be able to edit anyone elses post. They are able to delete their own posts, but can't delete anyone elses in any one forum/board. There are more little things I can explain about this group if you want, which I can't seem to figure out. Senior Admins can delete any post/thread and can edit any post in all forums/board. I can list some more here as well if you need. And so on... Also, is there an easier way to assign board view permissions to each usergroup? I thought this would be a lot easier than SMF, but turns out to be a little bit more complicated. I must admit though, other than these little things that I can't get customized right, this forum does rock. Also, the recycle bin, is there a way to make it so anytime anyone deletes a post/thread, it gets moved to the recycle bin automatically, other than how you have the "recycle bin hack" where it adds another option... "Move to Recycle" |
