Problem with the back-ups.....

Hi from greece.I had install the vb 3.6.5 in my database,so the MySQL client version is the 5.0.27.This version is enconding with UTF-8 Unicode (utf8) with greek.But the forum is enconding with Greek iso.So when i take the backup,the database can't read them.MySQL client version ( 5.0.27 ) can't read greek iso, only UTF-8 Unicode (utf8) .Can you help me with this problem? I must upgrade the 3.6.5 version with 3.6.7PL1 and i must take a good backup before upgrating.Thank you for your attention.
