PHP and MySQL Version for vBulletin
When attempting to do an installation/upgrade, I was horrified to discover that vBulletin requires php 4.3.3 or greater. My version is 4.3.2. I suspect that my MySQL is incompaitable too.
The message: vBulletin 3.6.7 requires PHP version 4.3.3 or greater. Your PHP is version 4.3.2, please ask your host to upgrade. I own my own server but when it comes to upgrading php and mysql I am a newbie, so am likely to get someone to do it for me. However before I proceed with this I'd like to know whether upgrading will cause any disturbances with existing websites hosted on the machine? Thanks. |
