Quote into New Thread?

I want a button in the post bit that quotes the post into a new thread in the same forum.

This way people can steer conversations, similiar to the threaded display for vbulletin.

The beauty of this over the threaded view is that you can have a little side topic going and when it is exhausted it will drop off the radar without continuing to clutter up the thread.

Also a Mod like this would allow those of us using linear views to continue doing so with no interuption.
